EzData™ form processing works with any TWAIN compliant scanner. It provides extremely accurate form processing including handprint character recognition and optical mark recognition using multiple character recognition engines. Using the latest character recognition technology, EzData™ works with single and automatic feed scanners to provide you with the best performance and accuracy available in the marketplace today. Data verification can be accomplished by selecting option to view the scanned forms to verify data integrity before saving to the database. If verification is not needed you can simply save one or all of the forms in a single step or through batch commands. EzData™ has special technology that recognizes scanned forms based on an identification number that is located anywhere on the form. With our unique form registration before a form is processed it is automatically corrected for orientation as well as misalignment of the scanned image. EzData™ can use field dictionaries to improve accuracy and reduced the need for manual corrections . Included are dictionaries with a comprehensive lists of US first names, last names, cities, countries, medical, legal, US states, street addresses, plus more. Users can also create custom dictionaries using our dictionary editor. Custom dictionaries are useful when a limited set of words is possible for a particular entry field. All processed fields provide a color indicator of the recognition confidence. This allows forms to be quickly verified and reviewed for accuracy. Any errors can be quickly corrected before saving the data to the Microsoft Access compatible database. |
